Disney: “We’re going to do a lot of new things” with Frozen

Disney has been slowly rethinking how to celebrate its upcoming film “Frozen,” and it’s not clear when that will happen.
“It’s not a done deal yet,” one Disney source told TheWrap.
“We’ll be doing a lot with it.
But we’re going back to the basics,” adding, “it’s not going to be like ‘Let’s have an extended Christmas special.'”
The source also noted that Disney’s current Frozen line-up will be expanded, with the company “really pushing the envelope on the Frozen theme park experience.”
Disney’s Frozen line will feature a full-length animated feature film and will be the first Disney feature to have a theatrical release.
The film will also feature music by Anna and Elsa, which Disney previously used to introduce its Frozen-inspired “Frosting” theme.
Disney previously said it was considering a limited theatrical release of the film in the U.S. but did not specify when.
The company also said the film will be a theatrical experience, but it would not reveal what that would entail.
Frozen was previously expected to arrive sometime next year, but Disney has not said when that date may be.
Disney has yet to comment on when Frozen will arrive in theaters.
