Which NBA player is the best at ripping a disc?
- by admin
Nick J. Riddle, the president of the National Basketball Players Association, was asked about the best disc ripper in the NBA.
“I don’t know,” Riddle said.
“I’ve been on the sideline for a while.
You know, if I’m out there and I’m having a little conversation with somebody, I’m not going to try to tell them the truth.
I don’t want to be disrespectful.
The best disc-raisers, I think, are people who are very smart at it.
I think you can’t do it.
I think it’s a little bit of a challenge.
But the way you do it is to be smart, and to look for the right thing.
When you’re ripping it, you want to see where it’s going.
That’s what I’m going to do.”
Jrue Holiday, who has been the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft, also was asked if he has ever done anything to make his disc ripping look more effective.
“It’s tough to say.
I’ve been there,” Holiday said.
Holiday, who was selected to the NBA All-Star Game in 2017, was a teammate of Riddle for five years, when Riddle was an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls.
Riddle said Holiday was a big help during his time in Chicago, helping him hone his skills.
If Riddle can continue to improve and get better, it would be good for the game, Riddle added.
And, Riddes, you don’t have to be a legend to rip a disc.
What do you think?
